Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Policy
PURPOSE
The purpose of this policy is to ensure Neighborhood Falmouth (NF) adherence to state and federal laws for Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action. This document states the policy and guidelines that govern the policy.
POLICY
NF is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. NF will not allow discrimination based upon age, military service, ancestry, national or ethnic origin, disability, race, size, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, genetic information, or any other status prohibited by law. In addition, NF does not retaliate against individuals for filing a complaint of unlawful discrimination, for participating in an investigation of unlawful discrimination, or for opposing unlawful discrimination.
GUIDELINES
The NF Executive Director and the NF President have individual responsibility to ensure adherence to NF policy. The policy applies to all types of work situations, including hiring, firing, promotions, harassment, training, wages, and benefits.
PROCESS
The process to be followed by the employee is that a written complaint must be filed with the NF Board President. NF will acknowledge receipt of the reported violation to the employee. NF must then have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct the alleged unlawful activity.
IMPLEMENTATION
The NF Executive Director will ensure that all new employees understand and agree to this NF policy in writing.
